He understands the importance of proper tree maintenance, including pruning and removals, and how it affects not only the health of the tree but also the safety of the surrounding environment.

Following that Doug began working for a reputable tree care company in the Rogue valley as a crew leader and climbing arborist. His job responsibilities ranged from crown restoration pruning to large-scale tree removals, all while maintaining his focus on continuing education as an ISA Certified Arborist.
Eventually, Doug felt that it was best to open his tree care business in the Grants Pass area, where he grew up and noticed the lack of good tree care services. He noticed that a lack of care provided by local tree cares businesses in the Grants Pass area, with many tree services doing poor pruning practices like lions tailing and topping trees.
